Water temperature and tide come from NOAA CO-OPS station observations and tide predictions. Each pier is matched to the nearest reporting station, so a reading may be taken a few miles up or down the beach from where you are standing.

Air temperature, wind, gusts, sky and barometric pressure come from the National Weather Service gridded forecast and the closest observation site.

Beach flags reflect the last posted municipal flag we have on record. The flag flying on the beach is the one that counts — always look before you swim.

Readings refresh roughly hourly. Timestamps above show when each observation was taken, not when this page was loaded. Bite scores are computed by PierCast from these inputs and are an estimate, not a promise.
