About Surfside Pier

Surfside Pier is an 830-foot fishing pier in the charming town of Surfside Beach, known as 'The Family Beach.' The pier offers a laid-back fishing experience away from the bustle of Myrtle Beach, with excellent catches of whiting, flounder, and Spanish mackerel. The pier features a tackle shop and snack bar with ocean views.

  • No shark fishing from the pier deck (most piers)
  • Keep your area clean. Dispose of bait and fish scraps properly
  • Be courteous to other anglers. Don't cast over someone else's line
