Reach anglers where they already are
PierCast is the guide people open on the pier — conditions, what's biting, the bait to use and the rules that apply. If you sell to anglers on the Grand Strand, there is a place for you in it.
Placements
Where you can appear
Four placements, each tied to a moment in the day rather than a page view. Pick one or combine them.
Pier detail pages
A sponsor card inside a single pier’s page — conditions, bait, rules and species all sit on the same screen. Anglers land here after scanning the plaque at that pier, so the placement is as local as it gets: the tackle shop two blocks away, the bait stand at the parking lot, the pier’s own rod rental.
What's biting feed
The feed changes with the season — pompano in spring, king mackerel off the T in late summer, red drum in the fall. A placement here can move with it, so a shop can push the exact rig and bait the run calls for while the run is on.
Pier Pick menu
Pier Pick is the MarshWalk food and drink picker — where to eat and what to order after you come off the water. Restaurants, breweries and bars on the Inlet can list a dish, a pour or a happy hour directly in the menu layout.
QR plaques on the rail
Every PierCast plaque is a physical sign bolted to the pier with a QR code that opens that pier’s page. A sponsor’s mark can go on the plaque itself and on the page it opens — one placement working in both places, in the sun and on the phone.
Who reads it
The audience, honestly
We do not publish traffic numbers on this page. Ask and we will send you what we have for the placement you are considering, along with how it is measured.
People standing on a pier
The site is built to be opened on a phone, in the sun, with wet hands — usually right after someone scans a plaque on the rail. That is a visitor with a rod already in their hand.
Ten Grand Strand piers
Coverage runs from Cherry Grove at the north end down to Pawleys Island, so a placement can be a single pier, a stretch of the Strand, or all of it.
Locals and visitors both
Regulars come for conditions and the bite score; visitors come for what to use, what they can keep and how to cook it. Different questions, same page.
Piers you can sponsor
A placement can be scoped to one pier or run across the whole Strand.

- Apache Pier
- Pier 14

How it works
Three ways to buy
Rates depend on the placement, the pier and the length of the run, so they are quoted rather than listed. Tell us what you are trying to reach and we will come back with a number.
Sponsor card
A card in the page flow with your logo, a line of copy and a link. Same styling as the rest of the site so it reads as a recommendation, not a banner.
Season sponsorship
Own a placement for a run or a season rather than by impression. Simpler to plan around and it matches how pier fishing actually works.
Plaque partnership
Your name on the physical plaque and on the pier page behind it, for the life of the sign.
What we will not do
- Dress a paid placement up as editorial. Sponsor cards are labelled.
- Let a sponsor change what the conditions, bite score or regulations pages say.
- Run pop-ups, interstitials or anything that gets between an angler and a tide chart.
